Life update // we're moving to Crestline!

We're trading in our loft life for a fireplace and fenced yard...
we're moving to Crestline!

Isn't it adorable!?! This is so bittersweet for us. While we long for an outdoor space, and a yard for Bruce, we have loved every minute of our time in the city. We will truly miss walking to restaurants, street festivals and art walks, our incredible loft with its high ceilings, hardwoods, and history, and so many more things about our life downtown but, we’re excited for what the future holds in our sweet little house (it has shutters and window boxes you guys!). We can’t wait to snuggle by the fireplace and grill out with friends once the weather warms. Bruce will love having a doggy door and we will love having a yard that we can all enjoy. I can’t help but feeling a little bit like we’re moving to the suburbs but I have been assured by the locals that we will love life in Crestline. We can’t wait to get settled and discover our new neighborhood. Here are a few local spots in our new hood we can't wait to explore:

Basils Gourmet Pizza and Wine (I’ve heard it’s the best pizza in Bham!)
32 Degrees A Yogurt Bar
Bongiorno Italian Restaurant
Church Street Coffee and Books
Crestline Bagel
Crestline Park
Dyron’s Low Country
Gus’ Hot Dogs
La Paz (this will be dangerous)
Lamb's Ear Gifts
Mafiaozas
Oak Street Garden Shop
Otey’s Tavern
Saw’s Juke Joint
Scribbler Stationary
Sugar Inc. Candy Shop
Suri of Thailand
Taco Mama
The Pantry
Tracy’s Restaurant

What else will we love about Crestline?

Bye bye city life!
This urban dog is getting a yard!
