If you've been following along or have been to our apartment, you know I LOVE rugs, especially brightly colored and boldly patterned ones like these beauties. We have rugs like these are all over our home except the kitchen. I've always had this feeling that kitchen and bathroom rugs should be... I don't know... more... disposable? After seeing these great spaces, I realize this is so not the case! Who is to say these beautiful turkish-style rugs cannot be included in the kitchen too? Using a large beautiful rug in the kitchen is a great way to pull the space together and ground the typical visual chaos of kitchen dishes, decanters, appliances, and accessories. Don't you just love this look?! I'm having a major case of kitchen - envy.
