Some of you ATLiens may be farmiliar with
Paris on Ponce but for those of you who are not, Paris on Ponce is a place for "antiques and the unique in the heart of Midtown" - a showroom of everything from
vintage curiosities to modern day decor. PLUS their unofficial mascot is a fabulous little pug by the name of Baudelaire, which of course makes me love them even more (oh.my.god.the bowtie!).
Paris on Ponce is one of those Atlanta treasures like
Scott's Antique Market,
Miami Circle, or
The Majestic. I am ashamed to admit that I had never been to P.O.P until this past weekend, and boy have I been missing out. I was snapping pictures left and right and swooning over the one-of-a-kind pieces (like that kelly green sofa that I will probably fantasize about for the next few years). Not only do they have incredible finds, like those fabulous retro mint stools which were only $100 for a set of three, but you will also find classic antiques and iconic pieces like the Mies van der Rohe Barcelona Chair, Charles & Ray Eames RAR Rocking Chair & Eiffel Side Chair pictured above. I was like a kid in a candy shop! Among all of these great pieces at Paris on Ponce you will also find a unique events space, Le Maison Rouge. Le Maison Rouge is an cabaret inspired space for private parties, wedding, & events for guests of the human and canine variety. It's equally intimate and wild and sure to leave a lasting impression. Overall, Paris on Ponce is a must see. Trust me, you will not be disappointed in this Atlanta treasure.
