Over the weekend, Max and I ventured to the beautiful historic loft district of downtown Birmingham to check out the 10th annual ArtWalk. The two-day arts festival featured work of over 100 visual artists and was complete with live music and food and drink vendors. The fabulous art, gorgeous architecture, and cobblestone street humming with local music set the scene for a great (and FREE) weekend adventure.
Among all of the wonderful work one artist in particular caught my eye, Alex Leopold. His work was unlike any I've seen and sparked that emotional, inspiring, "o-m-g I love that" moment in me. These are a few of my favorite pieces, learn more and check out his wonderful work at www.alexleopold.com.
