Currently Loving :: Corner Gallery Walls

I am sure you know by now that I love a good gallery wall. They add so much personality and create an interesting focal point for any space, especially when they're full of collected pieces of various styles, shapes, and sizes. Lately, I've found myself drawn to the idea of a corner gallery wall as an fun take on a classic. This particular photo I saw on Emily Henderson's instagram and it just struck me because the corner gallery wall is unexpected with the large open back wall. I also love how the art work "trails" from the gallery wall onto the top of the piano creating this asymmetrical art composition in the room. After taking a closer look, you'll realize that the corner gallery wall is actually visually balancing out the tall china cabinet on the right, and distracts from the fact that things aren't exactly centered in the space (mind blown.) These are my favorite kind of perfectly imperfect spaces. What do you think of the corner gallery wall? I think I may just have to try it...
