Life in 2016

You know how when it rains it pours, but in the good way? Like when you've been searching for a new job and then out of nowhere you get multiple great offers at once? Or when you've been single forever and just when you start to give up hope, all of a sudden you have two great people come into your life and you have to choose? Well that's kind of how life is in 2016.

A few weeks ago on my bachelorette weekend with my girlfriends we realized that out of our group of five - three are getting married, one is having a baby, and the other is moving to California to start PA school, all between now and December! How crazy is that? Also this year, Max became one of the chief residents and my mom will retire after 30 years of teaching. 2016 is a BIG year you guys! It's just crazy how things happen that way - the ebb and flow of life.

Max and I picked up our marriage licence this morning and it's getting SO REAL! It was really cool being in line with lots of other giddy, happy, in-love couples. With all the wedding planning craziness and stress I feel like the two of us are closer than ever and it's a great feeling. I am so grateful and excited for all of the incredible things happening in my life and the lives of the people I love around me.
