Cucumber Water + The Pantry

There is a precious little restaurant here in Crestline Village called The Pantry. Among all of the beautifully curated and delicious items they serve, one of my favorites is their refreshing cucumber water. It's one of those simple touches that makes this place so charming. I took my mom for lunch there yesterday and it was delicious as always! With all the detox drinks and juices out there I love that this simple concoction is refreshing and great for you! Here's why:

Lemon helps to cleanse and alkalize the body, aides in digestion, and boosts your immune system.

Cucumber is excellent for hydration and contains anti-inflammatory properties. They are rich in vitamin A, B1, B6, C & D, Folate, Calcium, Magnesium, and Potassium and promote joint health, boost immunity, give you energy, and keep you radiant. Cucumber is also know to help reduced risk of several cancer types, including breast, ovarian, uterine and prostate cancer.

For an extra kick, Mint adds sweetness, settles your stomach, and aids in digestion.

Slice up cucumber and lemons and place them into your glass or pitcher. Add cool water and let the flavors steep and infuse then ENJOY!!
