three lovely things

1 // My adorable grandmother, Gammy, just moved to a new place and it is beautiful! Gammy has Alzheimer’s disease and was happily living at an assisted living facility here in Norcross, GA. A few weeks ago we were notified that due to her level of care, being wheelchair bound and having Alzheimer’s, she could no longer live there and had to be out immediately. We were devastated. After weeks of research and worry, we found Gracemont Assisted Living and Memory Care in Cumming, Georgia. I went to visit her last week and was greeted by beautiful rolling hills and these friendly faces. What a blessing!

2 // Max’s new found obsession with Kale! While he was in D.C., Max stayed with his sister Kris who’s healthy habits really rubbed off on him. The same guy who had never tried brussel sprouts is now making Kale smoothies, eating tofu and super greens. He still loves hot wings & beer as much as the next guy but Kale smoothies for breakfast? I don't hate it.

3 // Despite the recent 80 degree days and spending Saturday lounging by the pool, I’m still feeling festive for Fall. The farmers market was full of beautiful pumpkins and gourds perfect for bringing some Fall color into your home. The cool evening breeze and changing leaves are a sure sign of more Fall weather ahead. Can you even believe it’s already mid October?

Happy Monday! May your week be filled with lots of lovely things.
