You know that feeling when you find yourself gravitating towards something and then down the road it becomes the "next big thing” and you’re all“Hey, I liked it before it was trendy!”..? Well that was me this morning when I read the Pantone Color of the Year announcement. It was one of those “Eureka! I knew it!” moments. I guess the only feasible solution is for me to quit my day job and become a color forecaster {clearly}. Pantone announced 17-5641 EMERALD as the 2013 Color of the year yesterday and I am all over it. Bold and sophisticated, Emerald adds a sense of luxury to interiors and always makes a statement. {Aaaand it looks stunning on redheads which is always a plus.} Yes, Emerald is a color I can really get behind and I have to admit it’s a great addition to the lineup of the previous colors of the year.
