Max, Bruce, and I are headed to the beach for a long weekend together and I could not be more excited! It’s been over a year since we’ve had a vacation and it is much overdue. In typical Lauren fashion, I’ve been packing, nesting, and planning our trip out for weeks now and have decided on a few beach trip essentials: I picked up a turkish towel which doubles as a wrap and I can't wait to use it at the beach! I also got a great big ole' beach bag from Target to tote my new towel along with sunscreen, snacks, and more! I’m pretty stoked about it. Taking max to the beach means I need to have some beach activities, and a good old velcro-mit game is always a winner in our book. It’s kind of our thing. Also our thing – bloody marys. PERFECT drink for sunset! We’re renting a condo across the street from the beach with a private board walk so we can easily run back and forth to make a drink or grab some lunch. My favorite beach lunch is a bacon, tomatoes, and avocado sandwich on white bread with lots of mayo. I can already taste it! And last but not least, I’m trying out the high-waisted bikini thing. Pretty sure they are every man’s nightmare but hey, I’ll look super trendy on my float like this chick.
