this wonderfully busy life

Sorry for the silence around here, its been a wonderfully busy couple of weeks! Max and I went to the head and the heart concert at Iron City a few weeks ago with some friends and it was a great show! Last weekend, we threw Max's mom's a surprise party for her 60th birthday;  It was a great event if I do say so myself and we loved having our families in town.  Last week, I traveled to Chattanooga for work and stayed in the most charming waterfront bed and breakfast in the Bluff View Arts District.  Aaaannnnd over the weekend, my best girlfriend Kate and her husband Niko came to visit us in Birmingham! They had never been to Bham so we spent the weekend showing them all of our favorites local spots. I loved having them here! All of the exciting things going on lately made me stop and realize how thankful I am for this busy time in my life. While my packed schedule can sometimes get the best of me, I'm thankful to have friends to visit, family to celebrate, work to travel with, and a city we just love exploring. Finding joy in the hustle of the day to day is a lovely thing.  Happy Monday!
